I’m all for change and usually scoff at the people who get all “up in arms” about changing logos and formats of apps.
But, this-this Instagram change has rocked me. I don’t like the thought of changing the logo any less streamlining
it – it’s all a metaphor for a streamlined app. I already see the UX change and less content is visible within the post. The teeny black harder to read type, Why? Is it all about video messaging and no content? I liked the blue format, I loved the logo, and now it’s just another app turning into a marketing machine. I wonder if Snapchat is indeed poised to be the growth machine and taking on all the savvy users, or something else will fill the void that inevitably Instagram lovers will be woefully wishing for. Oh, the days of still photo galleries will soon be gone along with a fun non-augmented news feed.

In addition to the updates to Explore, we’ve added the ability to go back and edit captions on your posts. When you share a moment to Instagram, a typo shouldn’t get in the way. This has been one of the top requests that we’ve heard from the community, and we’re excited to finally bring it to you today. You’ll find a new “Edit” option in the menu beneath your image. Tap it to edit your caption.
